After two seasons of I Am Cait, it looks like E! Entertainment has had enough of the poor ratings and decided to cancel I Am Cait, so no Season 3 will ever happen! Caitlyn Jenner has made headlines ever since her transition from Bruce Jenner was announced and I Am Cait got off to a big start in the ratings, but has fallen ever since and now it looks like Caitlyn Jenner is headed back to Keeping Up with the Kardashians!
I Am Cait debuted to huge ratings for E!, as it had 2.73 million viewers for the July 2015 premiere. From there, the ratings have fallen and were under 500,000 for some episodes during I Am Cait Season 2. The axe had to come down and Caitlyn shared the news on Twitter:
After 2 amazing seasons of @IAmCait, it’s time for the next adventure. Thank you E! & thank you to the best girlfriends I could ask for!

It won’t be the last we see of Caitlyn though, as she is set to go back and make appearances on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and has also signed on to appear on the third season of Amazon’s award-winning Transparent.
As far as the I Am Cait cancellation, E! Entertainment said: “We are incredibly proud of the two seasons of I Am Cait, a groundbreaking docu-series that sparked an important and unprecedented global conversation about transgender people, their struggles and triumph. Caitlyn and E! have mutually decided not to move forward with another season at this time. She will always remain a part of the E! family, and we look forward to continue following her journey as she appears on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
